Spine treatment cost and insurance: what to expect at Maana Spine

Cost is one of the first questions people ask about spine care. We don't publish treatment prices online, because the cost depends on your condition and your plan. This guide explains exactly how fees work, what's included, and how insurance reimbursement works, so there are no surprises.

Your first visit: the spine assessment

  • Consultation fee: ₹250
  • 30 to 45 minutes with a physiotherapist
  • History, symptom assessment, special tests, and a review of any MRI, X-ray or lab reports you bring
  • A physiotherapy diagnosis and a personalised plan
  • No doctor's referral needed

What happens at your spine assessment

How treatment fees are worked out

Treatment fees are worked out after your assessment, once your physiotherapist knows what your plan involves. The main things that affect cost are:

  • The number of sessions. A Maana Spine DTX™ program is typically 15 to 25 outpatient sessions of 60 to 75 minutes each, depending on your condition.
  • The treatments in your plan. Your plan may include exercise therapy, hands-on (manual) therapy where appropriate, and, where they suit your condition, treatments such as non-surgical spinal decompression, pulsed signal therapy (PST) or shockwave therapy (ESWT).
  • Your condition and how you respond. Your physiotherapist will review your progress during the program.

Your physiotherapist will explain the fees for your plan before treatment starts, so you can decide with full information. Treatment can often start the same day as your assessment, depending on your diagnosis and reports.

Follow-up after your program

After a DTX program, follow-up is in person at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months:

  • the 1-month and 3-month follow-ups are included in your program fee
  • the 6-month and 12-month reviews are charged separately
