What happens at your assessment
Your physiotherapist will:
- ask about your pain, your health and your daily life
- assess your symptoms and use special tests to check your spine and nerves
- review any MRI, X-ray or lab reports you bring
- give you a physiotherapy diagnosis and a personalised treatment plan
Treatment can often start the same day, depending on your diagnosis and reports.

- notes from any doctor you've seen about your back or neck
- a list of the medicines you take
You don't need scans to book. If one would help, your physiotherapist will recommend an MRI or X-ray.
Fees and insurance
- Spine assessment: consultation fee ₹250
- Treatment: fees are worked out after your assessment, once your physiotherapist knows what your plan involves
- Follow-up: after a Maana Spine DTX™ program, follow-up is in person at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months. The 1- and 3-month follow-ups are included in your program fee; the 6- and 12-month reviews are charged separately.
- Insurance: reimbursement only (no cashless treatment). We provide the documents you need for your claim.

Who will I see?
A physiotherapist with specialist spine training from Maana Spine. Maana Spine is physiotherapist-led, so you won't see a doctor at your assessment. If you need one, we'll tell you.
